Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit feedback on this project. The final Doone Kennedy Aquatic Centre Redevelopment Master Plan was presented to the Parks & Recreation Committee on 11 May 2017.
The Master Plan was then presented to Council at their meeting on 22 May 2017 and the recommendations were that:
- The Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre Redevelopment Master Plan, dated May 2017 and marked at Attachment B to the report, be approved.
- Implementation of the Master Plan be undertaken in accordance with the City’s 10 Year Capital Works Program and receipt of grant funding.
- Respondents to the public exhibition of the master plan be notified of the Council’s resolution and key refinements to the plan.
- The General Manager be authorised to lodge development applications to enable implementation of the approved master plan.
