Application Details: Demolition and New Building for Seven Multiple Dwellings and Works in road reserve
The proposal is for the demolition of the existing single storey building on the site and construction of a new building that would contain seven apartment style, multiple dwellings across six storeys. Car parking and storage is proposed on a basement level. Two apartments are proposed on the ground floor with a single apartment proposed on each of the remaining floors. The apartments proposed on the ground floor would have smaller floor areas than the others proposed (64m² and 70m² respectively) and two bedrooms. The apartments on the remaining floors would be larger (floor area 127m²) and have three bedrooms. Works in the road reserve, including removal of an existing car park and parking meter and widening of the existing crossover to the property from Macquarie Street, are also proposed.
