Application Details: Demolition and New Building for 57 Multiple Dwellings, 13 Visitor Accommodation Units, Food Services, and Signage

This planning application is for demolition of the existing buildings on the site and construction of a new building that would include 70 apartments, to be used as either visitor accommodation or as permanent residences. A cafe/bar/restaurant is also proposed on the Elizabeth Street frontage of the property. The proposed building would have a maximum of five storeys and a maximum height above natural ground level of approximately 14.2m. Vehicular access to the development would be via Burnett Street. Signage is proposed at the entrance to the site. This re-advertised proposal presents an amended design to a previously advertised proposal for the same site.
