The five By-Laws were considered and approved by the Council under the Common Seal at its meetings held on 9th July and 23rd July, 2018. The By-Laws were published in the editions of the Tasmanian Government Gazette on 18th July and 1st August 2018.

All submissions for the Infrastructure, Environmental Health and Waste Management By-laws will be considered by Council at an open meeting on Monday 9 July 2018. Submissions for the Parking and Public Spaces By-Laws will be considered by Council at an open meeting on Monday 23 July 2018.
Following the consideration by the Council the By-laws will commence once they are published in the Tasmanian Government Gazette. The By-laws also have to be tabled in Parliament and sent to the Subordinate Legislation Committee.
