PROPERTY SURVEY | ELIZABETH STREET PLAN
Dear Property Owner,
We are asking for your help!
We would like to better understand how property owners feel about Elizabeth Street and work together to identify ways to improve the experience for you and your tenants and visitors to the street.
Property owner Engagement.
As a property owner you are invited to take part in this survey.
We have enlisted the help of Associate Professor Louise Grimmer, from the University of Tasmania (UTAS profile), to add her extensive research experience in retail and property to the project.
A/Prof. Grimmer has helped prepare the questions in the survey and will use her expertise to analyse your feedback, insights and ideas.
This work will help us better understand the property and development environment in the Central City and North Hobart through focusing on a specific sample of properties, in this instance those located along Elizabeth Street (from the wharf through to Federal Street).
Note that a similar survey has been undertaken with all property in Elizabeth Street.
Your participation in this study is voluntary and your responses will be anonymous.
Eligibility
- Participants must be over 18 years of age
- Own or manage a property
- Be located on Elizabeth Street (within the geographical parameters set for the survey).
The Survey
- You will be asked to complete an online survey.
- The survey will take approximately 10 minutes.
- You will be asked general information about your property and perceptions of the area in which you are located and;
- Suggestions for improving the physical location in which your property operates.
All your responses will be completely anonymous.
What will the City of Hobart use the findings for?
The findings from the property owners will provide valuable insights into the existing development and physical environment along Elizabeth Street and future aspirations.
The anonymous data from this engagement will be published via Council reporting, UTAS research and in the media. Again, all data will be reported anonymously.
