Street-side Dining Trial - Surrounding Business Survey
NOTE: the target audience of this survey is for business owners/operators that are next to or near by the installed Street-Side Dining.
As part of our place and city shaping work, the City of Hobart is working with a number of traders who have requested an expansion of their outdoor dining areas.
The Street-Side Dining project also seeks to improve the accessibility of Hobart's streets by enabling continuous-line-of-travel on footpaths along the building line in the location of the participating hospitality traders.
These are:
- Simple Cider (189 Elizabeth Street)
- Straight-Up Coffee + Food (202a Liverpool Street)
- Pilgrim Coffee and Dumpling World (50 - 54 Liverpool Street)
The City is now seeking your feedback on this program.
These findings will help shape and define the City’s outdoor dining program, both retrospectively for those who already have spaces, and to develop consistency and shared understanding in support of future requests.
As a business owner/operator in the precinct, your feedback will provide us with valuable on-the-street insights into the benefits and challenges experienced throughout the trial.
This feedback will form part of the overall evaluation of the trial and inform future recommendations for this type of infrastructure in the city.
