The City of Hobart is proud to support the community through grants and sponsorships. Since 2016, the City has invested over $30M in cash and resources activities that enhance our community and culture and shape the social and economic life of the city.
A lot has changed since the grants program was first established. The City wants to be sure that the investment it makes is contributing to a vibrant community.
The City is currently undertaking a review of its current funding model. This work will set the framework for how the City funds activities and what it expects in return.
To inform this new model, we are now seeking feedback from the community, especially applicants and recipients of the funding programs.
Feedback on this project is open until Wednesday 13 March 2024. The feedback will be used to inform recommendations being presented to Council.
