Calling for community responses

The City of Hobart is exploring new ways of improving the riding experience for mountain bike riders in the lower foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington.

We have already embarked on the Missing Link project, enlisting the aid of local mountain bike riders to build three new tracks to international biking standards - the ‘Drops’, and two yet-to-be named tracks in the vicinity of Bracken Lane.

To take riding experiences on the mountain to the next level we want to understand how the existing track network is being used, the type of riding experiences you are having now and what you'd like to see in the future.

Your feedback will help us develop a mountain bike network plan for the lower foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington that will identify projects that can be implemented as funding becomes available.

By taking this survey you can help shape the future of mountain biking on kunanyi/Mt Wellington.

The scope of this project is restricted to a particular area. The MAP provided highlights tracks within the existing network that are currently under review.
