The City of Hobart recently completed works to upgrade the New Town retail precinct to create a more vibrant, inviting and accessible place for everyone.
Now that the works in this area are complete we are undertaking a review of the on-street parking on New Town Road (between Woolworths and Salvation Army) and in and around where Cross Street intersects with New Town Road.
We want to make sure that the timing for on-street parking in these streets is working in the right way for businesses, residents and visitors to the area.
