Single-Use Plastics By-Law

The City of Hobart would like to gain further insight into the type and quantity of takeaway food packaging being used by Hobart businesses. This will enable us to better calculate impacts of the new single-use plastic by-law, both on the environment and on businesses.

The information collected in this survey will allow us to better support businesses while they are transitioning to comply with the new by-law. The information will be incorporated into an updated Regulatory Impact Statement for review by both local and state government.

We invite you to provide your feedback in the below survey. All information collected will remain confidential.
