The Transforming Collins Street project – a tactical trial designed to reimagine and develop a long-term vision for Collins Street - was endorsed for installation by the Hobart City Council at its meeting in September 2024.
The project involves a variety of tactical trial changes, including streetside dining areas and separated cycling lanes, along a 700-metre stretch of Collins Street (between Molle and Murray streets).
