Why do you want to hear my story?
While public buildings like the Town Hall have an important role to play in official history, it’s the part they play in people’s lives that can make them really interesting. Not many people would remember when the Town Hall screened films, was a central meeting point for protests and celebrations or held regular dances. Remembering how the Town Hall was used in the past can help us look at it now with fresh eyes.
